This exhibition presents the first US survey of photographer David Armstrong. Centered on portraiture, the work reflects a studied and experimental approach that extends to landscapes, still lifes, and fashion imagery, treated as sites of intimacy, desire, and loss. The exhibition brings together 80 photographs, primarily vintage prints, including portrait sequences developed in the artist’s workbooks and earlier exhibitions, as well as a large-scale installation.
