In *Power Clash*, Jolie Ngo presents her largest body of work to date, drawing inspiration from her Vietnamese heritage and California landscapes. Her work merges faceted structures inspired by rice paddies and Vietnamese lanterns with digital technologies, including 3D printing. Ngo’s focus on color and decoration, or "dressing," is explored through techniques like airbrushing and hand-painting. Her functional pieces, including lamps, tables, and mirrors, juxtapose materials and influences, highlighting technology's role in exploring place and identity.
