Randy Wray’s Prehistory presents paintings and works on paper rooted in a primordial, pre-linguistic space. Developed over years of studio experimentation, his organic forms evolve like living organisms, with layers of oil capturing their growth. Influenced by biology, memory, and material process, Wray uses anatomical, cellular, and natural motifs to create vibrant, tactile surfaces that explore transformation, time, and perception across both canvas and paper.
