Marian Goodman Gallery presents Prelude, Álvaro Urbano’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Drawing from architecture, theater, and film, Urbano reimagines Central Park’s Ramble through atmospheric installation. Displaced lampposts engage in a silent dialogue, invoking queer histories and shifting roles of surveillance. This dreamlike environment blurs fiction and memory, casting objects as sentient actors in a paused, eternal moment of reflection and hidden connection.
