Prince Street Gallery presents Voices of Freedom, a solo exhibition by Preston Trombly. Inspired by protest songs from John Greenway’s historic collection, Trombly incorporates their pages into abstract collage-paintings. Though created in an abstract manner, the works resonate with the struggles and emotions of American history. Bold marks, textured surfaces, and vivid color washes convey urgency, rhythm, and power.
