Jeffrey Deitch presents previously unseen photographs by Paige Powell documenting Andy Warhol in the mid-1980s. Drawn from Powell’s personal archive, the exhibition includes PRIVATE ANDY, Double Exposures (1987), accidental layered images spanning events and Warhol’s funeral, and Religious Services (1986), which shows Warhol quietly volunteering at the Episcopal Church of Heavenly Rest. The photographs offer an intimate view of Warhol’s friendships, grief, and acts of care beyond his public persona.
