Prussian Blue is Sophia Huitema’s first solo exhibition with the gallery, presenting seven oil paintings centered on the pigment’s visual and chemical associations. Working in restrained blue and green palettes, Huitema depicts elongated female figures within dim interiors. The paintings balance allure and threat, using Prussian Blue as a metaphor for protection and toxicity within guarded, ambiguous worlds.
