Ramiro Hernandez’s *Stalking the Wild Pendulum* presents paintings rendered in a hazy soft focus and a faded, technicolor glow recalling sun-bleached paint and smoggy sunsets. Calm scenes like a day at the beach hang beside images of military and police weaponry. Taking its title from Itzhak Bentov’s book on holograms and consciousness, the show explores beauty and cruelty, and the idea that each part contains the whole.
