NOON Projects presents Reading the Flame(s), a solo exhibition by Los Angeles artist and activist Alan Pulner. A pivotal figure in performance art since the 1980s, Pulner draws on queer identity, grief, joy, and memory. Featuring puzzle-shaped wooden panels and collage, the works evoke the flame as symbol—of loss, resilience, desire, and transformation. Engaging text, shifting orientations, and sculptural forms invite viewers into an interactive experience shaped by Pulner’s activist and performative spirit.
