Geometry of Summer presents paintings by Richard Pousette-Dart made between 1974 and 1992, focusing on his late exploration of light, form, and geometry. Reducing compositions to elemental shapes such as circles, triangles, and squares, the works combine dense, tactile surfaces with intuitive mark-making. Developed across media and scale, these paintings reflect Pousette-Dart’s sustained inquiry into significant form, symbolism, and the relationship between perception, nature, and inner experience.
