Risk of Delight is a solo exhibition of paintings by Lily Alice Baker. The works consider the body as a site of emotional intensity, vulnerability, and improvisation. Drawing from experiences of social performance and intimacy, Baker depicts figures that shift between legibility and abstraction, registering states of dislocation, desire, and restraint through gestural mark making and heightened color.
