The exhibition pairs Mark's iconic black-and-white American photography — spanning Streetwise, Ward 81, and Prom — with the debut U.S. showing of Turkish self-taught artist Çimen, whose pastel-saturated Hafiz series documents girls in Qur'an schools. Though the two never met, their work converges on a shared subject: the universal emotional landscape of girlhood across cultures and generations.
