Raghav Babbar’s debut US solo exhibition presents paintings inspired by his experience at the 2025 Maha Kumbh, the vast Hindu pilgrimage in North India. Moving beyond the intimate portraiture for which he is known, Babbar depicts crowds of pilgrims through dramatic light and densely layered compositions, exploring faith, devotion, collective identity, and the humanity of the individual within the crowd.
