Carlotta Bailly-Borg’s Sea Foam Shame features fluid, intertwined figures suspended in motion, defying gravity and anatomical constraints. Her compositions compress bodies into confined spaces, their restless energy echoing the sea’s movement. Inspired by foam’s transient nature, her work captures cycles of transformation and reformation. The exhibition’s title, drawn from Nirvana’s All Apologies, underscores a melancholic, shifting presence—figures coalescing yet always on the verge of dissolution.
