Isabel Sullivan Gallery presents Seashells in My Mother’s Garden and The Giant Boulder Rolling Down, the first U.S. solo exhibition by Joana Galego. On view April 24–May 31, the show features paintings and works on paper shaped by memories of family, travel, and impermanence. Inspired by personal history and natural landscapes, Galego’s poetic scenes explore transition, longing, and quiet resilience through figures caught between presence and departure.
