Sediments at Montague Contemporary features new ceramic works by Dina Nur Satti, centered on her Lotus Series. Inspired by the Nubian god Apedemak, these hand-built vessels reflect on ritual, regeneration, and transformation. Crafted using ancient techniques and rooted in Nubian cosmology, the sculptures draw on the lotus as a symbol of resilience and rebirth. Satti’s work connects ancestral traditions with personal and spiritual exploration through clay’s tactile language.
