Seffa Klein's multidisciplinary practice spans elemental metal paintings, sculpture, installation, writing, and music, drawing on meditation, mathematics, and visionary experience to communicate across scales from the molecular to the astronomical. Her Fire Blankets series — bismuth on woven glass — pursues what she calls Hierophany: the physical embodiment of the divine. Sculptural works including the SK Brick and AD Plank interrogate the basic units through which reality is constructed, proposing playful subversions of accepted modes of building and meaning-making.
