Shuling Guo's Temple II presents new paintings and the artist's first mural, a site-specific work extending her painting into the gallery's walls. Female bodies, botanical forms, and devotional imagery glow within soft haloes, drawing on the temples and folk traditions of her childhood in Chaoshan, China. The show explores motherhood, memory, loss, and ritual, following the birth of her daughter and the death of her grandmother.
