The sixth edition of the New Museum Triennial, devoted to early-career artists from around the world, is co-curated by Vivian Crockett and Isabella Rjeille. Its title, The Outside Expands, draws partly on a July 1979 intervention by the Brazilian collective 3NÓS3, and it turns towards artists who destabilize fixed notions of territory, identity, gender, and sexuality.
