Almine Rech presents Skin of a Storm, Inès Longevial’s third solo show with the gallery. Her oil paintings use layered color and impulsive gestures to explore the female form as both surface and interior world, shaped by memory and perception. Informed by her myopia, each piece distorts and reconfigures vision. Her drawings, marked by cropped faces and symbolic inserts—wolves, slippers, inverted forms—convey allegory and introspection, suggesting inner life through surreal, poetic imagery.
