Lauren Clay: Solarium presents sculptural reliefs and freestanding works that explore architecture, illusion, and the metaphysical nature of form. Inspired by the loggia as a space between worlds, Clay uses arches as compositional “containers” for layered realms of perception. Drawing from Fra Angelico, Matisse, Donatello, and Michelangelo, her luminous forms merge painting and sculpture into sacred, threshold-like spaces.
