Coinciding with her SFMOMA retrospective, Alison Bradley Projects presents Kunié Sugiura: Something Else, featuring works spanning six decades. Sugiura’s practice pushes photography’s limits, from early photograms to her Photocanvas and Photopainting series, merging urban and natural imagery. Later botanical photograms reveal her ongoing focus on everyday life. The exhibition opens May 8, 2025, highlighting rarely seen pieces that explore duality, memory, and material experimentation.
