Sortilegio at Haul Gallery is a visual and sonic invocation rooted in the Venezuelan cult of María Lionza, where Indigenous, African, and Catholic traditions merge as resistance. Centered on an altar to the Three Powers and surrounded by ancestral figures, the installation channels trance, ritual, and ancestral rhythms, transforming the gallery into a space of spiritual, political, and emotional enchantment, where visitors encounter sacred presence in the everyday.
