Jay DeFeo: Space Exploration

Jay DeFeo: Space Exploration is an exhibition examining the artist’s sustained investigation of space as both a cosmic concept and a formal problem within the artwork. Bringing together works on paper and select paintings from the later years of her practice, the exhibition highlights DeFeo’s use of radiating forms, voids, and dense surfaces to explore depth, tension, and perceptual instability, linking everyday observation to expansive spatial inquiry.
