Larissa Lockshin: Squall Line

Nazarian / Curcio Los Angeles · Mid-City
Exhibition on view: Jan 10, 2026 - Feb 14, 2026

Squall Line presents new paintings by Larissa Lockshin that consider volatility as a visual and perceptual condition. Working on hand dyed satin stretched over canvas, Lockshin creates compositions where light, surface, and image appear to shift with the viewer’s position. Repeating botanical and symbolic motifs hover between representation and trace, emphasizing process, material sensitivity, and continual transformation.
