Ada Roth's debut solo exhibition, Squeezing the Ocean, explores the tension between mystery and revelation through abstract, surreal, and spiritual imagery. Inspired by her struggles with anxiety and Buddhist concepts, Roth creates dreamlike works that evoke sensations of floating between light and dark realms. Using spontaneous, tactile methods, she allows her compositions to emerge intuitively, drawing on influences from Kandinsky, O'Keeffe, and Soriano to convey emotional resonance and transformation.
