ADG is proud to present STACKS, a solo exhibition by British photographer Dan Boulton. Shot over 20 years at London’s Southbank, the series captures the spirit of one of skateboarding’s most iconic spaces. This marks Boulton’s Los Angeles debut.
Revisiting his seminal series No Turning Back which covered the decade 2005 - 2015, Boulton interweaves archival images with new photographs, some of which feature his two sons, creating a dialogue within the body of work that speaks to continuity, memory, and place. Presented in both black-and-white and color darkroom prints; the exhibition marks a shift in Boulton’s process and a widening of its emotional scope. What began as a document of a subculture has evolved into a generational story about place, memory, and what’s passed on.
