Cynthia Lin: Strange Twin at Satchel Projects reorients landscapes vertically, disrupting traditional perspective and color to create flickering, symmetrical forms drawn from lake-edge environments. Reflections evoke insects, totems, or body systems, becoming ambiguous Rorschach-like figures. Rooted in her experience of cultural dislocation, the works invite slow, contemplative viewing and offer shifting, multifaceted interpretations.
