STRATA brings together five painters—Ana Villagomez, Lucienne O’Mara, Gregory Hodge, Connie Harrison, and Alexandria Tarver—who explore the layered process of painting. Each artist’s method builds visual depth: Villagomez shifts between floor and wall; O’Mara balances gesture and structure; Hodge creates textured surfaces; Harrison reveals marks through removal; Tarver alternates glazes and erasure. Together, their works document time, material decisions, and individual creative journeys.
