Sultan Bin Fahad’s *The Blue Note* explores jazz as a cultural form shaped by spirituality, memory, resistance, and collective expression. Through paintings, bead works, and installation, he draws on jazz history, Black cultural production, Islam, and diasporic identity. Portraits of figures including John Coltrane and Dizzy Gillespie join devotional language and ornament to explore connections between rhythm, faith, and belonging.
