bG Gallery is pleased to announce Summer Stories, an exhibition dedicated to the evocative tradition of narrative art, on view from July 19 through August 10, 2025. The show highlights a vibrant group of artists whose works speak in visual tales—each canvas, sculpture, and composition revealing a scene, memory, or imaginative world that invites deeper interpretation. Narrative art, long rooted in both classical and contemporary traditions, uses visual language to communicate stories—sometimes literal, sometimes metaphorical. Whether through figures, symbols, or sequences, it engages the viewer’s imagination, prompting questions, empathy, and personal reflection. Summer Stories showcases this genre’s relevance today, offering artworks that reflect cultural, emotional, and personal narratives with immediacy and depth. The exhibition features works by LA Marler, whose photo-based pop art recalls mid-century Americana with a twist of wit and cultural critique; Vera Arutyunyan, whose raw and gestural paintings tell abstract emotional stories; and Gilad Ben Artzi, whose sculptural installations suggest poetic fragments of memory and myth. They are joined by a diverse roster of artists—each offering their own take on what it means to tell a story through art.
