An expansive group exhibition, Surreal America traces the many veins of surrealism that proliferated throughout the United States, beginning in the interwar period. Comprising paintings, sculpture, and works on paper dating from the late 1920s through the early 1970s, the exhibition includes work by dozens of artists from nearly every region of the country.
