Surround Sounds Piano_QNS is a retrofitted Sohmer piano whose 88 keys trigger field recordings and projections gathered across Queens, creating an instrument shaped by local soundscapes. Developed by Mortal Hearts, the piece invites collaborative play and explores shifting connections between place, noise and community.
