This exhibition presents works by Afghan artists created before and after the Taliban’s 2021 takeover, including pieces destroyed, hidden, smuggled abroad, or made in exile. Through images, testimonies, and surviving artworks, it documents censorship, loss, displacement, and the persistence of creative resistance, forming part of an evolving archive of contemporary Afghan art.
