Built through slow layers of undiluted oil paint from the inside out, the figures range from monumental to infinitesimal, their hands suggesting flowers, their bodies plant stems. Contained within painted scroll-like borders, the works open onto a spiritual ecosystem where the microscopic and macroscopic converge, and figures hover on the cusp of dissolving.
