Telenovela is an exhibition examining the melodrama genre as a psychological and philosophical framework. Addressing how emotional narratives allow viewers to engage difficult social issues at a distance, the exhibition considers telenovelas as a global cultural form that crosses geography, class, and identity. Developed in close collaboration with Pablo Helguera, the project reflects shared research into the social impact and cultural significance of popular media.
