This exhibition features art from the final royal capital of Sri Lanka before British colonial rule, drawn solely from the museum's own collection. Crafted from bronze, silver, and ivory and often studded with gemstones, the mostly intimate, portable objects reflect themes of royal sponsorship, Buddhist devotion, and creative imagination shaped by cultural exchange.
