Marta presents The Great Outdoors, a new exhibition by Serban Ionescu, exploring the concept of the Frame in cinema, painting, and sculpture. Inspired by Howard Deutch’s 1988 film, Ionescu examines the paradox of vast enclosures within fixed boundaries. The works, displayed in the gallery's courtyard, Anteroom, and façade, merge two- and three-dimensional mediums, dissolving traditional boundaries. Through vibrant sculptures, colorful steel, and dynamic paintings, Ionescu plays with scale, form, and space, creating an evolving, intuitive experience.
