Pao Houa Her: The Imaginative Landscape is a survey spanning more than two decades of the artist’s photographic practice. Centering women and informed by Hmong histories and diasporic experience, the exhibition examines constructions of homeland through landscape and portrait photography. Works connect varied geographies, from agricultural sites in California to locations in Laos and the Midwest, tracing continuities across displacement, memory, and imagination.
