REDCAT presents the world premiere of *The Lesson*, an evening-length music-and-dance work by Perfume Genius and Kate Wallich. Inspired by Elfriede Jelinek’s *The Piano Teacher*, the work explores repression, longing, authority, and submission through shifting roles, experimental pop music, and choreography.
