Liam Everett’s *the passenger* presents atmospheric paintings inspired by quantum biology and the relationship between light and living systems. Working with sand, pigment, alcohol, and processes of abrasion and erasure, Everett creates layered surfaces shaped partly by sunlight in his Northern California studio. The works explore the threshold between the visible and invisible, treating light as a force of perception, regeneration, and growth.
