The Prince of Homburg is an immersive installation exploring freedom, repression, desire, and the queer body. Inspired by Heinrich von Kleist’s play, the work centers on a video alternating between a sleepwalking figure in a dystopic landscape and reflections on queer and trans identity by contemporary thinkers. Photograms and a sculptural fence element extend the work’s examination of exhaustion, control, and embodiment.
