BAXTER ST at CCNY opens its new location with The Reinforcements, a solo exhibition by Qiana Mestrich. Featuring photo collages begun in 2023, the work draws from archives and personal history to examine the labor of Black and immigrant women in corporate America. Mestrich reimagines overlooked histories using materials from vintage magazines, creating speculative narratives that confront inequality and elevate the contributions of women of color in the workforce.
