The Shape of What You Lived at Sperone Westwater gathers artists who translate personal histories into visual form through material, mark, and memory. Across three floors, the exhibition explores identity, ritual, loss, and place—ranging from Guillermo Kuitca’s fractured cartography and David Lynch’s dreamlike collages to Todd Gray’s archival constructions and Byron Kim’s sky diary paintings. Each work records the intimate and historical forces shaping the self across time and space.
