Qiu XiaofeiL: The Theater of Wither and Thrive presents new oil paintings and works on paper developed after the discovery of previously unknown family photographs. Moving from personal memory to broader reflections on change and impermanence, the works give visual form to loss, presence, and absence. Informed by Chinese philosophy and literary sources, Qiu’s imagery stages memory and history as quiet, unfolding psychological landscapes.
