Robert Longo: The Weight of Hope

Pace New York · Chelsea
Exhibition on view: Sep 11, 2025 - Oct 25, 2025

Pace presents The Weight of Hope, a major exhibition by Robert Longo, on view September 12–October 25 across its New York flagship. Featuring drawings, films, sculptures, and studies, the exhibition spans a decade of Longo’s politically charged work. Using charcoal to render media images of protest, conflict, and unrest, Longo slows down the digital image flood, confronting viewers with powerful scenes that reflect the urgency of now while insisting on the possibility of transformation.
