The International Studio & Curatorial Program presents Hellen Ascoli: The World Upside Down, the artist’s first solo exhibition in New York. Featuring textiles, collage, drawing, and video, the exhibition explores weaving as a form of translation and storytelling. Drawing from Guatemalan traditions and her work with migrant youth, Ascoli uses weaving to reflect on language, displacement, and memory, offering a tactile, deeply personal response to migration and cultural identity.
