Farangiz Yusupova explores memory, migration, and the idea of home through abstract painting. Drawing on her upbringing in Samarkand and life in New York, she works with surfaces like paper pulp on panels to navigate addition, subtraction, preservation, and erasure. Her constructed spaces evoke windows or portals, reflecting comfort, entrapment, distance, and longing.
