Time Bends for the Tender is a solo exhibition of paintings by Akea Brionne that examines interior life, memory, and embodied experience. Centering figures within vividly colored domestic spaces, the works consider how identity is shaped through pressure, masking, and resilience. Through distortion, layered surfaces, and chromatic contrast, the paintings reflect tenderness, protection, and the nonlinear nature of emotional experience.
