Time, the anti-hero marks Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press’s sixth exhibition with 1301PE and the North American debut of four recent bodies of work. Through film, sculpture, drawing, and painting, Banner examines the politics of the body and language. Works include a clock driven by a mannequin hand, cast aircraft sculptures, and poetic moving images that question narrative and meaning.
